Thing 30: DIY- Flashcards, Quiz games & More

stamp of approvalI love the Tiny Cards site!  I already have the Duo Lingo app downloaded on my phone and I like how it makes learning into a game and fun.  This site is super easy to use, looks clean and uncluttered like other sited with ads and pop-ups everywhere. There are tons of flashcard decks already created that you could use to share with students, but I think it would be more beneficial for students to make them themselves and for each other as a "quiz quiz trade" style activity, but online. I was able to make a set of flashcards in just a few minutes by copying and pasting definitions form the New Visions Global II material.  I would have my students use images as well.  This would be a great activity for students to work on during a support period. They could explore the site and study various topics, as well. Here is a link to some imperialism vocabulary I created.  The other great feature of this site is that you can also have a "lesson" and be quizzed in on the cards. Of course Kahoot and Quizlet are always great as well, but it never hurts to have a new site to try!
